Event Site Manager


Job description

The company is seeking an highly experienced Event Site Manager, taking responsibility for marquee and chalet installation at events nationwide. The candidate should be able to manage a team of workers to ensure the job is delivered to the client's specifications. Have exceptional practical and organisational skills and an ability to adapt to any situation, and become a fundamental part of a team. This is not a typical 9-5 job, long hours and overnight stays are essential during peak times of the year.


Full Time Position

Main purpose of the job:

  • The Site Event Manager would be responsible for planning and managing instillation and removal of marquees and chalets at different sites around the country.

  •  Being responsible for a team of people onsite to ensure the success of the event and ensure all aspects of the job are completed to the client's specifications in a safe and professional manner.

  • Driving vehicles as required to deliver and remove equipment.

  • Working closely with Logistics and Operations for organising delivery and collecting of chalets and marquees as required.

  • Manage the stock to ensure quality and stock availability and carry out repairs as requested.


Special Requirements:

  • Be a practical hands-on person cable of carrying out repairs to both wood and metal work.

  • Moffet / forklift truck driver (training can be provided).

  • HGV Driver Preferred (not essential).

  • To work weekends as required to satisfy business needs – (minimum 2 days / month between May – September). 

  • To work overtime as required to meet the business demands.

  • Only take one week (5 days) of holiday entitlement between May – September.
