Holiday Entitlement 20 days’ per annum plus bank holidays (written permission from director should be granted before booking a holiday).  You gain 1 extra day’s holiday for every 5 years’ service.  Only take one week (5 days) of holiday entitlement between May – September.

The Role

 

A person with experience in warehouse organisation and capable of leading a team to load marquees all associated equipment and ensure all stock is maintained and stored safely.

​

Responsible not only for the warehouse, but for the whole site in general, to ensure the site is always presentable and well maintained. 

​

To safeguard health and safety procedures and ensure all staff on site comply with company policy.

 

 

Main Purpose of the Job

 

• Manage the picking and loading of orders in the warehouse and the returning goods

 

• Manage the Quality control of all Hire Equipment and safe operations on the site

 

• Be responsible for the tidiness of the warehouse and surrounding site

 

• Stock control and management

 

• Reporting Defects

 

• Responsible for First Aid Equipment

 

• Work closely with operations to identify any time saving/money saving ideas.

 

• Maintain PVC to high standard and to run and maintain the wash plant.

Main Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

 

• Managing the team in the warehouse to deliver an agreed list of daily priorities.  Working with the operations manager to ensure resources are available

 

• Ensure all jobs are loaded safely and that any member of the team under your supervision adheres to this requirement

 

• Ensure all equipment is to a satisfactory Hire standard and is maintained, cleaned, stored and transported in a suitable manner. Notify Operations Manager of any equipment unfit for hire

 

• Be aware and responsible for the safe working environment of you and your team and make the directors aware of any potential issues as they arise.

 

• Driving the forklifts as required to load and unload vehicles

 

• Load artic trailers for large jobs.

 

• Overtime available

• Must hold a UK Driving License 

• If you smoke you are happy not to onsite or in vehicles

Special Requirements

 

To work weekends as required to satisfy business needs – (minimum 2 days / month between May – September)

 

To work overtime as required to meet the business demands
