We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor capable of managing the warehouse team to load marquees and associated event equipment and ensure all stock is maintained and stored safely. 

 

A highly experienced person capable of managing onsite maintenance for holiday properties, buildings, grounds and gardens.

Main Purpose of the Job

 

• Managing teams in the warehouse and as required around site

 

• Manage the picking and loading/unloading of orders in the warehouse and storage and transportation of equipment and introduce new procedures

 

• Ensure the Quality of all Hire Equipment and ensure safe storage and operations on site

 

• To deal with onsite maintenance issues, both in regards to the warehouse, holiday property accommodations and the venue.

 

• Be aware and responsible for the safe working environment of you and your team and make the directors aware of any potential issues as they arise.

Main Duties, Tasks & Respoibsibility 

• Managing the team on site to deliver an agreed list of daily priorities.  Working with the operations manager to ensure resources are available

 

• Ensure all jobs are loaded safely and that any member of the team under your supervision adheres to this requirement

 

• Ensure all equipment is to a satisfactory Hire standard and is maintained, cleaned, stored and transported in a suitable manner. Notify Operations Manager of any equipment unfit for hire

 

• Be aware and responsible for the safe working environment of you and your team and make the directors aware of any potential issues as they arise.

 

• Provide induction training to new warehouse staff, ensure correct PPE is being used and provide basic on site training

 

• Driving company vehicles as required to deliver and collect equipment

 

• Driving the forklifts as required to load and unload vehicles

 

• Managing the operation of the wash plant

 

• Identify issues in and around the warehouse and come up with new processes to solve problems

 

• Supervise the yard and site maintenance teams

To work overtime as required to meet the business demands
